When will people ever learn to quit screwing around with gasoline and fire? Here are the top ten Idiots playing with Gas.

Gasoline + Bonfire + Idiots = Well Done Idiots

Our first video is a typical “lets light a bonfire with gasoline” clip. This guy must have poured about 2 gallons of gas on this pile of wood and sticks. In a futile attempt at safety, which backfires horribly, he attempts to light the fire via a 10 foot trail of gas leading to the gasoline soaked pile. He used so much gas that even a 20 foot distance wouldn’t have helped him.

Adults Aren’t Immune to Stupidity

Ready for more idiots with gas and a bonfire? This guy who didn’t take nearly as much precaution as the poor guy in the first clip. When several attempts at trying to cautiously light this gasoline soaked pile fail, Captain Genius here decides that this fire is not going to ignite unless his head and body are directly over it as he throws the match in.

Cup of Gas

Ok. Lets see:
- A bunch of stoned kids? Check.
- Full can of gasoline 3 feet away from fire? Check.
- Pickup truck less than 10 feet from fire? Check.
- Plastic cup full of Gasoline? Check.

This kid pours the cup of gas into the fire, and then just holds it there like he’s posing for a picture or something. Was he waiting for the fire to thank him? I think it’s time to lay off the drugs young man.

Leave it up to the Pros

Finally, some guys who actually realize the dangers of gasoline. They have set up a nicely controlled gasoline blast. With a herd of cows very close by who will probably all be emotionally scared for life from being startled so badly.

Fireworks and Gasoline: A recipe for disaster

Who knows what goes through the mind of these kids when they decide that they should try launching a bottle rocket from a bottle filled with gasoline. Probably not much, but I think they may have learned a few lessons from this: 1st, you should never kick a full, lit bottle of gasoline. That just makes it angry. And 2nd adding water just makes things worse.

Static at the Gas Pump

This next video is a lesson for everyone. I didn’t know about the dangers of static electricity when at the gas pump until I saw it on the Oprah show. Well, as you can see here, it’s true. This woman generates a charge by sliding out of her car and discharges it right on the gas pump, sparking a fire. Avoid this by always discharging yourself by touching metal before you start to pump gas. And don’t ever get back in the car while the gas is pumping you crazies!

Pure Stupidity

My guess is that if we could see the previous few minutes of video from this clip, we would have seen this guy first smoking some crack, and then huffing the gas from this can. He passes out, comes to, stands back up with the gasoline, and does this.
